Our afro-haired hero meets yet another team in this installment of Space Bros! This episode only briefly introduces the new characters and sets up the next story arc where he will begin training as part of the back-up crew. Nanba Mutta must work together with this oddball bunch to survive and finally accomplish his dream of going to the moon. Let’s go meet the team!

After a long, extended break (our apologies!) we’re ready to get back into the swing of things. If you’ve visited in the past couple of days you’ve probably noticed some visual changes as PJ and I spruce up the blog. More anime posts and write-ups to come along with karaoke also in the works! As always, feedback and comments are appreciated.
So I had lunch with a friend. It was pretty alright… not the best shit ever but still alright. Our food came maybe 5 minutes or so after we have ordered it and when I say ‘we’ I mean my friend because that’s kind of jerk I am. The waiter guy asked which dish was who’s but we just yelled at him to just dump it all on the table and be off because we were pretty hungry. We didn’t have time for useless chit chat because it was game time. He first went for the seafood gumbo and I rolled the chicken pot pie. The pot pie wasn’t really that classic pot pie that everyone usually imagines but this is the modern age, time to step away from all that classical shit and just slap on a square airy pastry slice on my pie soup. They added a strawberry on the side as a type of garnish which I thought was pretty nice, totally odd though. Food? Ugh.
Had some left over images that I collected for the Nichijou opening karaoke video post! Soooo I’ll just drop them in another post cause they’re pretty awesome if you’ve already seen the show. You might even spot some Easter eggs of some other shows in them if you look carefully!
|It’s all about that Nichijou!|
Nichijou is best slice of life comedy! Ok… I can’t say THE best because there sure are a ton of them out there and everyone is opinionated… BUT it definitely goes into my top 5 or less in that particular genre. I remember watching the first episode and going “whoa wtf lulz” and it kept me wanting more and more. The thing that caught my eye, and ears, the most were the opening, endings, and background music. The background music had an orchestral flair that fit well with an SOL setting and the op/ed was choreographed well.
Me and Kerplunk started this song a long long time using only Sony Vegas. It was time consuming and we didn’t really have any to spare at the time. It became a mission to finally finish it but instead of Sony Vegas I ended up just using Aegisub for the subs and Adobe Premiere Pro for video stuff.

Summer is right around the corner! After a couple weeks we’d all be free and readily available to relax away from the troubles of academic life. If you’d not currently in school or college, at least take a small break from work. Go somewhere for one weekend and plan your own little holiday.
Which brings us to the latest FUO Karaoke release of Horie Yui’s ‘HOLIDAY’. ‘HOLIDAY’ was an extra song in the Dragon Crisis OP ‘Immortalist’ single sung also by Horie Yui.

A new video! This time its a song from Galileo Galilei. Some might recognize them for their song Aoi Shiori, opening song for AnoHana (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shira nai). Which is why we chose such a background image for this song.
Timing – Kerplunk
