Oto no Naru Hou e (The Way to Becoming A Sound) by Goosehouse

Oto no Naru Hou e (The Way to Becoming A Sound) was featured as the ending theme song to Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon) season 2.  I loved this song so much from watching the anime ending that I’ve decided to add karaoke lyrics to their live Youtube video.  Enjoy!

Fuyu no Epilogue (Winter’s Epilogue) by Goosehouse

Rolling through some of Ghoosehouse’s albums and singles, I managed to stumble over this song.  I liked the tone and feel of it, so I decided to dust off my skills and make a karaoke video.  I tried to find an image that fit the winter-y theme meshed with Touhou.

Also embeded is the live performance of the song posted on their Youtube!  Enjoy!

All about the Nichijou!

It’s all about that Nichijou!

Nichijou is best slice of life comedy! Ok… I can’t say THE best because there sure are a ton of them out there and everyone is opinionated… BUT it definitely goes into my top 5 or less in that particular genre.  I remember watching the first episode and going “whoa wtf lulz” and it kept me wanting more and more.  The thing that caught my eye, and ears, the most were the opening, endings, and background music.  The background music had an orchestral flair that fit well with an SOL setting and the op/ed was choreographed well.

Chibi Girls und Panzer!

Click here to find out who this cute girl is!The second episode of Girls und Panzer led into an easter egg hunt, a tank free for all, and almost running someone over with 25 tonnes of German STEEL, but perhaps the cutest part of the entire episode was the introduction of the ending sequence (episode 1 only featured the opening sequence as the ending sequence).  It pretty much has the main elite chibi panzer crew cruising around happily in their panzer IV behemoth, as depicted in the screen caps of this post.  With a little photoshack magic, It could be wallpaper worthy.

Shinki and Hamster 1

I tried my hand at Busou Shinki, I figured a show about sentient figurine mecha musume shouldn’t be all that bad. It started out like Angelic Layer with the mecha combat tournament jazz  but then it dove head first into the SOL (Slice-of-life).  Don’t get me wrong though,  if your into the everyday life antics of half foot tall mecha musume figurines serving their masters and just hanging out with friends, then this would be your slice of cake.  However, to me, it would be a lot more interesting if there was active combat going on.  Well, there is the pew pew going on every now and then (which is pretty well animated, least to me) but it isn’t in that shounen sense.
